Trekking
After
5000 years as a beast of burden in the Andes, the llama is your
ideal walking companion. In addition to carrying extra equipment,
they provide quiet, stable environmentally friendly companionship
during your walking day. Rough ground poses no problem for llamas.
Indeed, in some areas of North America, horses are banned but llamas
are encouraged as they do no damage to footpaths.
Llamas used for trekking offer many benefits. Older people find
that they enjoy their walks without the burden of carrying their
own equipment. What can be better than to enjoy a picnic lunch
that you have not had to carry yourself or to know that your waterproofs
are readily available should they be required.
Llamas adapt easily to any outdoor activity that involves hiking
or walking with the requirement to carry heavy equipment.
