Llama Trekking with Camels Donkeys and Mules!
Llama Trekking can be part of many outdoor activities. Contact us with your requirements and we will do our best to organise a unique experience for you.
All treks start from Mallards Pike Lake and you will be accompanied by an experienced Severnwye guide.
Why not let your Llama carry your packed lunch, waterproofs and camera? We provide excellent picnic lunches and can cope with all dietary requirements. Moira Fraser is a highly qualified Hotel and Restaurant manager and personally prepares the highly acclaimed picnic lunches.
What about a romantic evening meal in the centre of the Forest with food and fine wine all carried by the Llamas in custom designed panniers with integral cool boxes. Barbeque facilities are available at various locations in the Forest.
Llamas are ideal for bird watching as they are virtually silent and very good at spotting wild life.
If you want the ultimate Forest experience have a camel accompany you.
Or a donkey and cart, or mule and carriage.
Experience with Llamas is not necessary as you will be shown how to handle and look after them prior to departure. Llamas are very docile and love human company. Llamas only spit at each other. They will not spit at you unless intimidated or mistreated.
To enjoy your trek with Severnwye Llamas you will require good walking shoes, (trainers are suitable in dry weather) preferably not brand new. There is nothing worse than walking with blistered feet! The Llamas will carry your other belongings. It is pointless carrying your own rucksack.
